Enkele weken geleden hebben de kinderen van de Talentklas een gastdocent op bezoek gehad om hen wegwijs te maken in de ins & outs van kalligrafie en zelfgemaakte kalligrafie-instrumenten.

De gastdocent Saber Javanmard vertelt:
“I had two days of such nice workshops at @artscooldenhaag. This was for kids of 8-14 years old at the Talentclass. As usual, a lot to learn from these kids!

It’s really exciting to see how they use my customized tools and get totally different results.

First part of the workshop was to try the tools and make geometric shapes. At the end, each made the first letter of their first name.

On the second day, we had a short discussion about the basics of graphic design. Then, they combined the geometric shapes on the magazine pages. The final assignment was to cut out the letters from the first day and make one big collage (100x270 cm) together.

I enjoyed it so much and learned new ways of using my tools!
